The silhouette of the sneaker is the 237, New Balance’s contemporary reinterpretation of ‘70s running heritage that melds a range of heritage design inspirations into one deceptively simple, exceptionally versatile, contemporary silhouette. Details include an oversized, chenille ‘N’ and satin-and-suede body. In a nod to vintage running shoes, the tongue is made of exposed foam layered in ripstop nylon, while the interior is lined in terry cloth (like the inside of your favorite sweatshirt).
