Our traditional chore coat gets an update in a sartorial Italian fabric; think of this as “tailored workwear." The basic silhouette — clean lines and three patch pockets — remains the same, but we’ve updated this utilitarian classic with a butterfly lining, slimmer fit and a slight lapel roll at the collar, all elements more typically found in a sport coat or blazer. And about that fabric: woven from linen, the earthy Glen Plaid has a kind of “spring tweed" vibe that works excellently all on its own with a pair of chinos or your favorite denim, but also makes for a handsome set paired with the matching Madison Trousers.
